The new global industry standard for quick and easy guest check-out for card payments is now available at more than 7,000 online stores in Switzerland. Click to Pay simplifies the payment process and can therefore reduce abandoned purchases and increase customer satisfaction.

Simplified management of sensitive data
Click to Pay also simplifies data management, as sensitive card data is not stored directly with the merchant. Instead, the individual card data is encrypted by the card company and replaced by a token. If they are to be used for a purchase, the merchant's system requests this digital placeholder and automatically transfers it to the payment application. All it takes is a few clicks on the part of the customer to complete the transaction.
Cardholders have two options to register for Click to Pay with their credit, debit or prepaid card or to add another card later: directly at the card-issuing financial institution or on the Visa and Mastercard website. When paying in the online store, cardholders select card payment as usual. Participating stores use the e-mail address to recognize whether it is registered for Click to Pay. Shoppers see the Click to Pay symbol, the cards on file and can complete the purchase quickly, easily and securely.
