Juice Technology enables the operation of the JUICE CHARGER me 3 with the wallee payment terminal for public charging.
Juice Technology AG, a manufacturer of charging stations and software and a leader in mobile charging stations for electric vehicles, is teaming up with the Winterthur-based payment service provider Wallee Group AG to enable convenient payment by credit/debit card and mobile payment methods at the charging station.
"At last, you can pay for the charging current for your electric car simply and cheaply by credit/debit card or, for example, with Twint. This means that there is no longer any need for countless charging cards, some of which involve up to four parties and have led to excessive charging tariffs. The Swiss solution is easy to set up, inexpensive to operate, low-maintenance and secure - and the operators have full control over the charging rates charged, which are displayed transparently on the screen," promises Christoph Erni, CEO and founder of Juice.
The JUICE CHARGER me 3 with the terminal from wallee offers an attractive alternative to charging networks. This is particularly beneficial for external users who want to charge their electric car easily. The electricity for the electric car can be paid for at the JUICE CHARGER me 3 using credit, debit and bank cards as well as mobile payment methods such as Twint, Apple Pay and Google Pay. This opens up additional sources of income for commercial providers from various business areas: Restaurants, hotels, sports facilities, retailers, real estate developers and companies with company parking lots. Anyone can now become a professional provider of charging stations.
The system - Juice charging station with payment terminal from wallee - is already being used in the first projects, for example in the Grisons mountain destination of Laax or in the "Riedmatt Center" shopping center in Rümlang.

Projects that combine the wallee payment terminal with Juice charging stations are currently being funded by the private sector.
